The Coppa Ciuffenna 85th edition speaks a foreign language once again, also known as the 98th Coppa Antica. Following the Russian Savekin's success in 2025, this time it was the twenty-one-year-old British rider Maxwell Hereward from Zappi Racing Team who crossed the finish line solo in the Aretine locality in the Upper Valdarno, delivering a strong acceleration in the final stretch and arriving at the finish line 20 seconds ahead of a small group of chasers, while the rest finished 43 seconds back.
Behind the brilliant winner was the Tuscan under-23 champion Gialli, who was racing on home roads, while the other podium spot went to Rossi. At the race organized by U.S. Lorese 1919, 115 riders started from Piazza Matteotti in the center of Loro Ciuffenna, one of Italy's most beautiful villages, with 41 of them finishing the race, which was contested at an average speed of over 42.5 kilometers per hour.
