The project involving the decisive relaunch of the youth development program at Team Valdinievole for the 2027 season continues with great success and in these very days it has been enriched with an important and valuable development marked by the great friendship between former professional cyclist from Pistoia Fabio Sabatini, coordinator of the project, and American physician Dr. Brian Ridge from the American Vein Care Institute clinic.

As already known, the initiative which counts among its supporters Antonio Cioffi, owner of Bufalcioffi, aims to begin a new cycle in the youth sector under the Team Valdinievole banner starting in 2027. Involved alongside Sabatini are other former riders from a few years ago such as Luca Lucchesi, Alessandro Daddio, Paolo Giorgi, Gabriele Calistri, Alessio Stefanelli, and Massimiliano Lepori. Their work is to recruit young cyclists with exemplary guidelines and principles to help those who have chosen and will choose cycling to grow in the ideal way, without stress, but having fun.

The news of these days is Fabio Sabatini's trip to Colorado to meet Dr. Ridge and his wife. Together they decided how the clothing and the lettering on the special jersey that the young cyclists will wear will look. The American physician, before being called a sponsor, is a great friend of the Sabatini family (he was their guest in the past for a few days) and this Italian-American agreement is a first step with a view to future growth of Team Valdinievole.
