Velò, the weekly cycling column on Rete8, has received a special recognition from the organizers of the 78th Trofeo Matteotti, scheduled for September 13th on the circuit between Pescara and Montesilvano.
The plaque was presented during the official presentation of the Abruzzo classic, which featured Francesco Moser as a special guest. It was received by Luciano Rabottini, creator of the broadcast, and Jacopo Forcella, host of Velò, awarded by UC President Fernando Perna and race technical director Stefano Giuliani and honorary president Renato Ricci.
The recognition honors the work carried out by the broadcast in telling the story and promoting cycling, from major international races to local activities.
Particularly moving was the moment of presentation: Rabottini dedicated the plaque to the memory of Maurizio D'Aguì, the historic director of Velò who sadly passed away in recent days.
The broadcast also extended its thanks to the entire organization of the Trofeo Matteotti for the recognition received.
