It is a small, very small cycling story, made of waiting and cultivated dreams. The story of a young rider who struggled, who chased so much and now found himself being chased. It is the story of a team that takes boys and girls, young riders, and raises them, teaching them cycling. It is the story of Armofer by Stefano Cinerari and Luca Colombo, who love cycling like few others and know how to spread it like few can.
It is the story of Maurizio Taina, in his second year as a junior rider, from Caorso (Piacenza), regional champion of Emilia Romagna in team pursuit, fourth in the regional omnium championship as well as in the Madison. After many races spent chasing and after many placings, his first victory in San Mauro Torinese.
Maurizio beat Luca Sestini and Alessio Bozza in a sprint finish. It is the story of many young riders who dream even if at first glance they don't have the hallmarks of Pogacar, but it teaches us that with perseverance, willpower and commitment, goals can be within reach of everyone, as long as there is someone who knows how to guide you.
