The third stage of the Tour of Bulgaria, the Sliven–Paven Banja covering 106 km, continues to speak Italian. Samuel Quaranta (Gragnano Sporting Club) comes agonizingly close to victory and finishes in second place, beaten in the sprint by Swiss rider Guillaume Haldimann (Humard VP), who delivered the decisive attack at the finish line.

It was also a very positive day for Gallina Lucchini Ecotek Colosio, which placed Giosuè Epis in fourth position and Raffaele Veneri in sixth, confirming remarkable consistency throughout the entire race.
In the general classification, Serbian rider Stolic remains in command, winner of the first stage. Behind him, the Italian contingent continues to occupy prestigious positions: Crescioli third, Biondani fourth, Bonometti fifth, Gasparini seventh, Epis tenth
