An excellent start for Gallina Lucchini Ecotek Colosio at the Tour of Bulgaria (UCI 2.2). In the opening stage, 125 km from Primorsko to Burgas, Giosuè Crescioli came agonizingly close to victory, finishing in second place behind Serbian rider Mihajlo Stolic (Bahrain Victorious Devo), who delivered the winning move in the final sprint.

The opening day nonetheless brings important signals for the Brescia-based team, which places three riders in the top-10: alongside Crescioli, an excellent fifth place for Giosuè Epis and an eighth place finish for Michele Bonometti.
