The Gipuzkoa rider arrives at the green team after five years of steady growth among the professionals - first with Euskaltel and then with Kern Pharma - having signed a two-year contract. During this period, Iribar has demonstrated his abilities both in one-day races and stage races, particularly on challenging terrain and in the mountains. His results across a wide range of races highlight his versatility and ability to perform at his best in different contexts.

This season, he finished sixth in the French classic Grand Besançon, while among his most recent results are also third place overall at the Tour de Langkawi and seventh at the Giro della Romagna last year. He also achieved top-ten finishes at the GP Beiras in Portugal, the Giro dell'Appennino and the Tour du Jura.

At WorldTour level, he has also shown glimpses of his potential in races such as the Itzulia Basque Country and has completed a Vuelta a España. His record and performances testify to both Iribar's abilities and the progress made in developing the profile of a combative rider, capable of fighting for top results in demanding races.
