No San Sebastian and Vuelta a Burgos for Primoz Roglic. As revealed by the Slovenian rider himself through his social media channels, the experienced Red Bull BORA hansgrohe rider was hit by a car during a training session, which will unfortunately force him to skip the two Iberian races he had planned to participate in to prepare for the Vuelta a Espana.
"A few days ago I was hit by a car and unfortunately I won't be able to participate in San Sebastian and Burgos" said the four-time Vuelta winner.
"It's certainly not the ideal situation, but that's life. Now my focus is on the Vuelta: we'll train and hope things go for the best!" added the thirty-six-year-old from Trbovlje, who, barring any further schedule changes, will start the Iberian stage race on August 22nd with only 28 days of racing in his legs and his last competition dating back to June 28th when, at the national road championship, he finished just off the podium.
