Elia Viviani and Netcompany Ineos have decided by mutual agreement to part ways, thus bringing to an end the Veronese's experience as sports director of the British team, a role he took on at the end of last season following his official retirement from racing.
After being involved in the spring classics and the Giro d'Italia, Viviani decided to step back also because his appointment as team manager of the Italian national road and track teams requires significant commitment, as does the Ducati project in which Viviani is involved - alongside other riders such as Nibali, Petacchi, Bugno and downhill specialist Suding - working with the Group led by the Zecchetto family.
