A winning sprint and first personal victory of 2026 for Giulia Zambelli, with the Bergamo-born class of 2007 rider triumphing at the Modena finish line in Massa Finalese in the Women Juniors race. In her first Under 23 year (authorized by regulations to compete in her category races), the Team Biesse Carrera Zambelli rider delivered an imperious sprint, legitimizing her success in the race after also winning the intermediate sprint point. For her, a friendly finish line where last year she had finished second behind Modena's Alessia Orsi.
This time, the celebration was complete, with Giulia ahead of the Bft Burzoni VO2 Team Pink duo made up of Giulia Costa Staricco (2008) and Anna Longo Borghini (2009). Completing the podium, fourth place for Melania Minichino with the team directed by Andrea Manzini and Dario Marchica celebrating overall their 13th victory (also embracing that of Under 23 Anna Izotova).
