A limited edition Colnago Master, hand-assembled in a legendary workshop in Tuscany using iconic components from the Italian cycling tradition: this is where "Carube's Gems" begins, a project dedicated to those who recognize in the bicycle a heritage made of history, culture and above all of people.
Behind the project is Roberto Lencioni, known to everyone as Carube; a former rider, mechanic for professional teams and trusted advisor to numerous champions over the years, Lencioni has built his reputation through decades spent in workshops, in team cars and alongside many protagonists of this sport, such as Mario Cipollini. A story that makes him one of those figures around whom you can sense the aroma of cycling history and the passion that made Italian cycling unique. Today Roberto Lencioni puts this experience at the service of a project that aims to preserve and pass down the technical and artisanal culture of the bicycle.
Around this project are some of the brands that have contributed to writing important chapters in the history of the Italian bicycle: Colnago for the frame, Campagnolo for the components, Vittoria for the tires and Selle San Marco for the saddle.
The presence of Eroica adds a further level of significance to the initiative: for almost thirty years Eroica has worked to enhance the historical heritage of cycling, helping to keep alive the bond between bicycles and the people and stories that have built this sport.
The project also arrives at a particularly significant moment for Colnago, recently awarded the Compasso d'Oro 2026, one of the most important international recognitions in the field of design, further confirmation of the role that the Cambiago-based company continues to play in Italian manufacturing excellence.
