The adventure in Belgium continues for Team Polti VisitMalta, which tomorrow will face a race that has changed its calendar position but not its route: the Franco-Belgian Circuit, moved up from August to June and shortened by just a dozen kilometers in the opening section. Otherwise, it's the usual circuit just beyond the Franco-Belgian border, as the name suggests. There will be the quintuple succession of Mont de l'Enclus, Col du Horlitin and Knokteberg, with a subsequent passage of the Enclus alone constituting the explosive finish.
Team Polti VisitMalta will field seven riders: Gabriele Bessega, Andrea Pietrobon, Gabriele Raccagni and Javier Serrano are coming off Heistse Pijl and Brussels Classic, Fran Muñoz and Davide Bais from last week's Mercan'Tour Classic, while Dario Igor Belletta returns to racing after the Tour of Turkey over a month ago.
The sporting director will be Stefano Zanatta: "We face a rather tough race, for which we have prepared properly with the weekend's commitments and we have added fresh forces".
