The Vuelta a Burgos Feminas kicked off today and the signature on the opening stage, the Burgos - Burgos 127-kilometer route, is truly prestigious. Lorena Wiebes took the victory in a sprint. The Dutch champion from Team SD Worx-Protime won by a considerable margin, ahead of Chiara Consonni from CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto and Georgia Baker from Liv AlUla Jayco. In the top ten were also Cristina Tonetti, seventh, and Silvia Zanardi, who finished in ninth place.
