The first block of the Giro d'Italia has brought Polti VisitMalta not only the liveliness on the roads of Bulgaria, Southern and Central Italy, with Diego Sevilla's six days in the blue jersey, Mattia Bais's breakaways and Lonardi's top-10 finishes in the inaugural sprint and Crescioli's performance in the Lucanian downpour. Behind the scenes, made up of contacts and agreements, creativity and visibility, a combined effort of management and marketing, the team led by Ivan Basso and the Contador brothers has secured four technical partnerships. Two are linked to nutritional aspects: with Giovanni Rana, already a partner of the Giro, for the supply of their finest products destined for the cyclists' nutrition during the Giro; and with Acqua Dolomia, for water supply throughout the season. Then there is Motorola-Lenovo, for the supply of devices (smartphones and tablets) intended for the team cars and staff to enhance the social media coverage of the Giro experience. Finally OK Mobility (see photo in the article, courtesy of Maurizio Borserini) announced just this morning but already in full operation: it's a Spanish company that offers multiple mobility solutions, and in the case of Polti VisitMalta, it provides its vans for the intense hospitality activities and other logistical needs throughout 2026.
