Team Visma | Lease a Bike closed as absolute dominators the 75th edition of the Fleche du Sud. After conquering three of the previous four stages, the Dutch formation dictated the law also in the closing fraction with start and finish in Esch-sur-Alzette, securing the four-timer thanks to the third winning sprint of Matthew Brennan.

The twenty-year-old British rider, at his fifth success of the season, got the better of Roy Hoogendoorn (Metec - SOLARWATT p/b Mantel) and yesterday's winner Marcus Sander Hansen (BHS - PL Beton Bornholm), while by finishing today in ninth place Matisse Van Kerckhove secured the overall victory taking home the yellow jersey with 5 seconds over Luxembourgers Mats Wenzel and Arno Wallenborn (Team Lotto Kern-Haus Outlet Montabaur).

To complete a week of racing that was nearly perfect, the yellow and black team triumphed with their two young talents also in the points classification (won by Brennan) and in the best young rider classification (first Van Kerckhove), while on the Italian front the best Italian was Andrea Cantoni (Mg.K Vis Costruzioni e Ambiente), 21st in the closing stage and 14th in the final standings at 34 seconds from the winner.
