Antonio Tiberi arrived at the Bahrain Victorious hotel last evening to greet his teammates and this morning he followed them at the start from Cervia: "I'm following the Giro and I was particularly impressed by the Potenza stage, where Afonso (Eulalio, ed.) took the pink jersey. He's truly a special guy and I'm convinced that he'll do everything he can to keep it today".

And further: "I'm thinking about the Tour, in a few days I'll go to Teide to train at altitude, then I'll return to racing at the Tour of Switzerland before the Grande Boucle. It will be my first time at the Tour and I'm really curious to discover this race...".
