A Tuscan weekend awaits the Continental team of Team Biesse Carrera Premac, competing today and tomorrow in two appointments for Elite and Under 23 categories. The action kicks off today with the Gran Premio Città di Pontedera, where the Brescia-based squad directed by Marco Milesi and Dario Nicoletti will line up six athletes: alongside the more experienced Elite riders Filippo Agostinacchio and Nicola Rossi, there will be Under 23 riders Davide Quadriglia, Mirko Carminati, Ilya Slesarenko and Renato Favero. The same lineup, with Cristian Sanfilippo replacing Carminati, will compete on Sunday for the 72nd Trofeo Matteotti.
