The entire season of the men's and women's Grand Tours - Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, Vuelta a España; Vuelta Femenina, Giro d'Italia Women, Tour de France Femmes - will be broadcast on Eurosport channels through Warner Bros. Discovery platforms, also available on Dazn, TimVision and Prime Video.
Starting with the 109th Giro d'Italia which, from Friday, May 8 in Bulgaria, will conclude on Sunday, May 31 at the final finish line in Rome after over three thousand kilometers: passing through Naples and Milan, crossing into Switzerland (Carì) and climbing the great climbs as in the queen stage from Feltre to Piani di Pezzè, which with its over 5000 meters of elevation gain could decide the Corsa Rosa between the Passo Giau (Cima Coppi) and the Passo del Duron. There will be 21 stages to experience every day in full live coverage on HBO Max and discovery+ for a total of over 100 hours of racing, with commentary by Luca Gregorio, Riccardo Magrini, Moreno Moser, Wladimir Belli and all their guests on the post-stage show on Eurosport Italia's YouTube channel.
Scott Young, EVP of WBD Sports Europe: «The Giro d'Italia is one of the most epic challenges any athlete can face and the Grand Départ from Bulgaria marks the beginning of an extraordinary summer of sport on Warner Bros. Discovery Home of Cycling with its team of 40 commentators and reporters, including many legends of world cycling».
Among the former champions who are now exclusive faces of Eurosport: the winner of 12 stages at the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France Robbie McEwen, the champion of 9 Monument Classics Sean Kelly, the winner of Flanders 1992 Jacky Durand, the master of classics Philippe Gilbert winner of 3 stages at the Corsa Rosa and the champion of 7 Grand Tours Alberto Contador, while taking turns on the motorbike will be Jens Voigt (first week); Alessandro De Marchi, who participated in 8 editions of the Giro d'Italia and wore the pink jersey in 2021 (second week); and Adam Blythe (third week).
Jens Voigt, who in his career participated in 17 editions of the Tour de France and won a stage at the Giro d'Italia: «There will be 3500 kilometers of emotions with almost 50,000 meters of climbing, which is more than five times the altitude of Everest: an enormous challenge. Jonas Vingegaard will try to win the Giro for the first time and if he succeeds, he will enter that exclusive club of cycling legends who have won all the Grand Tours. The recipe for a historic race is there: now the riders just need to cook up a wonderful Giro».
For the first time on HBO Max and in full live coverage on discovery+, Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming platforms will broadcast an increasingly interactive Giro d'Italia through Multiview functions (up to four race streams simultaneously on the same screen), Key Moments and Watchlist, with all stage highlights. It will also be an immersive Giro thanks to the most innovative features such as inclinometers, three-dimensional maps, virtual wind tunnels and connections with the team buses racing.
HBO Max also presents the docuseries Giro d'Italia: Dreaming in Pink, 5 episodes that transform the Corsa Rosa into a cinematic narrative between feats, views and legendary climbs. Dreaming in Pink retraces a rivalry that, in 2025, ignited on the Colle delle Finestre after the wonders of the trulli of Alberobello, the Tower of Pisa, the white roads of Siena towards Piazza del Campo, until the final finish line in Vatican City, in the presence of Pope Leo XIV. Where every stage becomes a shared and timeless emotion, among flashbacks of the myths of Pantani, Fondriest and Moser in a continuous dialogue between different eras. A series produced by Filmmaster in collaboration with RCS Sport & Events.
In May on Eurosport, in addition to the Giro d'Italia, there is La Vuelta Femenina every day from May 3 to May 10 on HBO Max, discovery+, Dazn, TimVision and Prime Video, with two-time defending champion Demi Vollering facing the challenges of Anna van der Breggen, Marlen Reusser, Lotte Kopecky and the defending champion of the Tour de France Femmes Pauline-Ferrand Prévot.
