For two cycling enthusiasts, next May 22nd will be an unforgettable day. On the occasion of the 13th stage of the 2026 Giro d'Italia, from Alessandria to Verbania, they will be hosted by Team Visma – Lease a Bike. The Dutch team has decided to launch an auction in which, in addition to race-worn and signed items from Jonas Vingegaard, Wout van Aert - fresh winner of Paris-Roubaix - and other team members, there will be the unique opportunity to win a "Hospitality with Meet & Greet package" for two people to follow the Giro d'Italia stage in the front row alongside the team.
The auction is open until April 19th on Catawiki, Europe's leading marketplace for special items, and is filled with unique objects. One of the highlights is the yellow podium jersey worn (and autographed) by Jonas Vingegaard at the last Paris-Nice.
There are also items from across the entire Team Visma - Lease a Bike roster, with articles related to champions like Wout van Aert, along with signed jerseys, race-worn bodysuits and other materials from the early months of the season. Alongside items from Vingegaard and van Aert, there are also two bodysuits worn by French athlete Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, both estimated at around €500.
Needless to say, the most exclusive item is the live experience that will allow two people the opportunity to secure a front-row seat to follow Team Visma - Lease a Bike during an entire stage of one of the world's most important stage races and ride in one of their official cars, complete with radio communication. "What makes this experience so engaging is that it offers a glimpse into an aspect of cycling usually inaccessible to fans," explains Ana Maria Covrig, sports memorabilia expert at Catawiki. "Being able to see the roads where cyclists race and experience the atmosphere up close is truly an unforgettable experience. Being hosted by the team makes it even more thrilling, as the key moments along the route are highlighted."
"These are pieces that usually aren't seen again after a race. They tell the entire story of what happens out there. Not just the result, but everything it takes to get there," comments Jonas Vingegaard. "Knowing that they can now go to fans who truly follow cycling and appreciate its connection means the story continues beyond the finish line."
