Third day of racing at the Tirreno-Adriatico and the schedule presents us with a decidedly long stage: from Cortona to Magliano de' Marsi there are indeed 221 kilometers to cover.

The route is slightly undulating and unfolds in a succession of gentle climbs and descents, among which we can highlight Todi (the only categorized climb of the day at km 81.8) and the Marmore. After the intermediate sprint at Caselle at km 164, the route heads towards a fast finale that continues to climb slightly for the last 15 km until the final straight (approximately 3%). On paper, it looks like an ideal day - albeit quite demanding - for sprinters, and in this case Jonathan Milan's name is a must among the day's favorites.
However, watch out for breakaway attempts: the peloton of the Corsa dei due Mari is full of talent and there could always be a surprise move from one of them...
