Following the cancellation of flights scheduled with Qatar Airways and the inability to rebook on alternative airlines not operating in the Middle Eastern region, after evaluating all possible travel solutions that, however, did not guarantee the departure of the entire team in a single solution nor arrival with sufficient advance notice before the start of competitions, the Federation has been forced to withdraw from participation in the first track World Cup event in Perth, Australia.
The logistical and organizational conditions to guarantee the trip do not currently exist. Considering the current uncertainty and placing the highest priority on the safety and well-being of athletes and staff, it was deemed necessary, with a sense of responsibility and to protect the group, to withdraw from participation.
The first World Cup event is scheduled for March 6-8 in Perth.
