The wait is over: registrations are now officially open for the 1st Granfondo "La Franco Ballerini", which will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Registrations will remain active until June 11, 2026, the registration closing date.

The event offers a medium and long-distance route, competitive and of international scope, open to all athletes and enthusiasts with an FCI membership card, or from another Sports Promotion Organization, and with a competitive fitness certificate. Specifically, the route will traverse the symbolic places of the "Ballero's" human and sporting growth: from Casalguidi, the start and finish point, to Vinci, a land of genius and tradition, passing through the iconic San Baronto climb, where every turn tells the story of the former champion.

Participation fees include a Sportful cycling technical jersey, refreshments and pasta party at the finish (accessible only with the wristband provided in the race package), mechanical and medical-health assistance, radio rescue, supplies on medium and long routes, shower service, and secure bike parking at the start and finish. Until March 15, 2026, the Early Bird rate of €50 is available.
