When a team closes, it's a difficult moment for the entire movement; when a historic sponsor extends its commitment, it's an important signal for the whole world of cycling.
The Soudal Quick-Step announces today that its main sponsor has extended the team's sponsorship until 2030, securing one of the longest-standing partnerships in modern professional cycling.
The extension builds on the original agreement signed in 2023 and represents a clear long-term commitment statement, following a period of great success on the road where Soudal Quick-Step has continued to distinguish itself at the highest levels of this sport.
Since the beginning of the partnership, the team has achieved 143 victories in 25 countries, with wins ranging from Spring Classics to Grand Tours, from stage races to individual time trials, demonstrating the team's ability to consistently achieve results.
By participating in the most prestigious cycling events, including Monument Classics, Grand Tours, and the UCI World Tour calendar, Soudal Quick-Step offers its main sponsor visibility throughout the year during some of the most important sporting moments of the season.
The partnership guarantees Soudal global visibility in Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Americas, supported by a strong television audience, international media coverage, and on-site activations during races followed by millions of fans worldwide.
Beyond sporting performance and global visibility, the partnership allows Soudal to directly interact with customers, partners, and stakeholders through a comprehensive hospitality program during key races throughout the season, where Soudal and its guests benefit from behind-the-scenes access, race-day experiences, and close interaction with the team, cyclists, and staff, using cycling as a platform to build relationships in an international commercial context.
Speaking about the agreement, Jurgen Foré, CEO of Soudal Quick-Step, stated: "This extension reflects a partnership that works at all levels. From a sporting perspective, we have shared many important moments together since 2023, and from an organizational standpoint, it gives us the stability to continue building for the future. Having a main sponsor committed until 2030 is an enormous strength for the team and a solid foundation for the future".
He was joined by Dirk Coorevits, CEO of Soudal, who said: "Our partnership with Soudal Quick-Step has become something we are truly proud of. Since becoming the main sponsor in 2023, we have seen how the team combines performance, professionalism, and a strong team spirit, just like Soudal itself. Cycling offers us a unique platform: global visibility in iconic races, significant engagement with our partners and clients, and a shared ambition to continue improving year after year. The extension of this partnership until 2030 reflects our confidence in the team, its people, and its long-term vision. We are excited to continue this journey together".
