The young talent Luciano Gaggioli, son of a cycling family, born in 2008 and now part of Team Vangi, is the winner of the second edition of the Francesco Cesarini - Dream Ahead Award, a recognition that combines talent, training, and real opportunities in professional cycling.
The award functions as an integrated framework, combining a virtual race valid for the Italian eSports FCI Championship, assessment at the Mapei Sport Center (in the photo), and an operational stage in a WorldTour team. This comprehensive approach convinced the Jayco Alula Team, with Marco Pinotti and Giovanni Visconti, to select Gaggioli for the WorldTour training camp in Dénia, Spain, scheduled for January 15th.
During the training camp week, the young cyclist will have access to training review, field tests, nutritional consulting, and will be able to train directly with professionals, experiencing a unique technical and educational development opportunity.
The Italian eSports Champion title was won by Giacomo Serangeli, already part of the Hagens Berman Jayco team, for which the final decision of Jayco Alula fell between the second and third place finishers, choosing the talent most ready to experience the WorldTour.
With the Francesco Cesarini Award, Gaggioli is thus preparing for an exclusive path, where merit, method, and professionalism meet at the heart of elite cycling.
