UAE Team ADQ is pleased to announce the promotion of 21-year-old Belgian Febe Jooris to the WorldTour roster for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. A time trial specialist, the 2004-born athlete boasts a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in time trial in 2022 and two national Under-23 time trial titles. Jooris has also demonstrated versatility across various routes, achieving significant results in one-day races and international competitions.
The 2025 season with the UAE Development Team has been a year of significant personal and sporting growth for her. "I have learned a lot - Febe explains - and understood that the team is very well-organized. I want to continue with this team in the coming years."
Among the most significant moments of Jooris's year were the Classics ridden alongside her WorldTour teammates and the races with the Development Team, which allowed her to compete in different types of competitions and consolidate excellent relationships with her teammates.
The promotion to the WorldTour team represents an important step in the Belgian athlete's career: "I am truly grateful for this opportunity and want to prove that I deserve this advancement". Looking ahead to the new season, Febe aims to help the team, with particular attention to the Classics, races in which she feels she can best support the team, and to work diligently on the time trial discipline. "I am happy to be part of an extraordinary group of athletes and staff," Jooris concludes.
Melissa Moncada, President of UAE Team ADQ, adds: "We are proud to see Febe take this step into the WorldTour. We strongly believe in her potential and are excited to see her contribute to our objectives in the coming years. Our commitment is to nurture young talents and provide them with a stimulating environment to excel. Febe has demonstrated determination and team spirit that will help her succeed at the highest level."
With this promotion, UAE Team ADQ confirms the effectiveness of its development pathway, capable of guiding young athletes towards the highest level of world cycling.
