TEAM TECHNIPES #INEMILIAROMAGNA. MAIN SPONSOR CONFIRMED, READY TO FACE 2026 WITH 13 RIDERS

CONTINENTAL | 19/12/2025 | 08:16

Exactly two months after winning the Italian U23 Team Time Trial Championship, beating Continental teams and WorldTour formations, Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna looks ahead to the 2026 season with great motivation, maintaining the technical, project-based, and value-driven approach that has characterized the project since its inception.

The partnership with main sponsor Technipes is consolidating, a company from Santarcangelo di Romagna led by the Barosi family and chaired by Raffaele Barosi, which continues to support with conviction the #inEmiliaRomagna Cycling Team project, conceived in 2019 by Davide Cassani and promoted by APT Servizi Emilia Romagna and Consorzio Terrabici as a territorial marketing project through the sporting activities of young cyclist ambassadors.

Technipes, in its fourth year in Continental cycling, is a solid company from Santarcangelo di Romagna, an international reference point in industrial packaging of solid products, manufacturing machines and systems for weighing, bagging, and packaging.

"The Italian Team Time Trial Championship is a beautiful milestone in the collaboration and growth path we have started with the Team," comments Technipes President Raffaele Barosi. "We are happy to continue collaborating with a serious, competent, and motivated group, characteristics I see in the company and that I find in this work group that allows young people to grow in Italy and abroad and achieve prestigious results like the national title."

Today, Technipes is a company with over 110 employees and exports worldwide, from Europe to the Far East, Americas, and Africa, with offices in Dubai and the USA. This refers to the team national title won on October 18th, a high-profile technical result achieved also thanks to cutting-edge equipment, such as the extraordinary Pinarello Bolide bikes, along with Salice helmets and NEB18 clothing, and the work of a top-level staff, confirmed in its entirety for the next season.

Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna, reaching the end of 2025 - with important news to be announced at the start of the season - continues its goal of guiding young cycling talents in their competitive journey, offering them a professional environment, top-tier technical tools, and a structured context capable of promoting the Emilian-Romagnol territory in Italy and abroad.

The team's leadership, promoted by Davide Cassani and chaired by Gianni Carapia, is confirmed, with technicians Francesco Chicchi, Michele Coppolillo, Mauro Calzoni, and Andrea Gallo, supported by project manager Gian Luca Giardini, ready to continue a path that in recent years has brought sporting results, national team call-ups, and professional transitions.

From a technical and organizational perspective, the Team will present itself at the 2026 start with confirmed partners and top-level materials. Alongside established certainties, 2-3 new partnerships and innovations will be announced in the first weeks of the new year, further strengthening a project that continues to grow season after season.

Meanwhile, the 2026 roster has been officially announced, composed of 13 athletes: 6 confirmed, 6 new additions, and a great and welcome return. A group built with a balance between very young athletes and profiles already ready to play a leading role in the Under 23 category. Among the confirmed riders are Marco Martini, road race winner in 2025, Alessandro Cattani, time trial winner, and Leonardo Meccia, who podiumed on the road in the past season: three athletes who were part of the quartet that won the U23 Team Time Trial national title. Also remaining on the roster are Riccardo Archetti, the fast-paced Thomas Bolognesi, and climber Ivan Toselli, confirming the intention to provide technical and project continuity to the work done.

This core is joined by six new athletes, completing a young but already quality-rich roster: Alessio Menghini, a sprinter already multiple times victorious in the Under 23 category; climber Tommaso Bambagioni; Tommaso Anastasia, who has already shown interesting qualities, as has Nicolò Pizzi. Along with them, two very young and promising profiles like Mattia Ballerini and Matteo Paltrinieri, called to grow within a structured and highly formative context.

Completing the group, the team's only Elite rider: Emanuele Ansaloni, returning to the Team with a reference role for the younger riders, but also with the goal of standing out in professional-level competitions where young riders will be called to gain experience. The Team thus prepares to face a new season with enthusiasm, ambition, and solid foundations, in the sign of an increasingly stronger synergy between business, sport, and territorial promotion.
