Davide De Pretto, Felix Engelhardt, and Kell O'Brien have renewed their contract with Team Jayco AlUla until the end of 2027.
The Australian O'Brien joined the team in 2022 after a stint as a trainee in 2021 and has continued to grow in the spring classics and as a reliable domestique in recent seasons.
The German Engelhardt has demonstrated his talent since joining the team in 2023, securing victories in his first two seasons with the squad. The 25-year-old has evolved into a rider suitable for various terrains, and the team is excited to see him progress further in the next two years.
Italian De Pretto will also remain with Team Jayco AlUla for the next two seasons, ready to continue his growth path with the Australian team. The young Veneto rider showed his talent in his debut year and was given the opportunity to race his first Grand Tour at home when he appeared at the Giro d'Italia in 2025.
Kell O'Brien: "I am extremely happy to continue my journey with GreenEDGE. The team has great ambitions for the future, and so do I, so it's an exciting time looking ahead to the next two years."
Felix Engelhardt: "I am very happy to stay with the team for another two years. I have learned a lot and grown significantly in the last three years with the team, and I really feel at home. This is the perfect environment to continue improving."
Davide De Pretto: "I am very satisfied with my season. The highlight was my first Grand Tour, and I'm confident that the Giro d'Italia experience will help me grow further. I've completed my second year as a professional with great enthusiasm and must thank the team for the trust they have shown me and will continue to show me in the future. I am very proud to be part of the team, especially because I have found the ideal environment to improve. I hope to repay this trust by achieving the best possible results."
Gene Bates, Sporting Director of Team Jayco AlUla, adds: "We are happy that Kell, Davide, and Felix will continue to be part of the team for the next two years. We really want to see them grow in their careers and reach the levels we believe they are capable of. Davide has shown to be very promising in his first two seasons with the team, and we think he can still offer a lot. This year he experienced his first Grand Tour, which should represent a great boost for his development as a rider. Felix has continued to grow as a rider since joining us, and we want to see him improve further. He is a fast rider who can also tackle challenging climbs, characteristics necessary for competing in modern cycling. We consider Kell a strong rider for the classics and a key member of our main group dedicated to that type of race. He is also capable of impressive time trials, as we saw at the Vuelta this year, and can help in sprints, so he is a versatile rider and a great asset to us."
