As we announced in recent days, Alé Cycling has announced an organizational restyling of its American distributor FZ Import & Distribution Corp with Alessia Piccolo taking on the role of CEO and Peter Kukula that of General Director. FZ announces an organizational restyling to tackle the challenges of the North American market with energy and vision. FZ Import & Distribution Corp., based in Tampa, Florida, is the Zecchetto Group company that exclusively distributes the Alé and DMT brands in the U.S. and Canada. Today, a decisive internal reorganization marks a new chapter in the group's expansion path: it is a change signaling efficiency, concreteness, and the desire to establish a strong presence in one of the most dynamic and competitive markets in the world for high-end cycling apparel.
The new structure, leaner and more focused, sees Alé's CEO Alessia Piccolo also assume the role of FZ CEO, while American Peter Kukula takes on the role of General Director. Kukula boasts over 25 years of experience in the cycling world and is a respected and recognized figure in the sector. He has held key roles such as brand manager and North America sales director for a renowned cycling apparel brand, worked for Shimano North American Holdings, focusing on Lazer Helmets sales, and since 2023, with the consulting firm PKSC Management Group, has been coordinating the American sales force for Time (bikes), Alé, and DMT.
Thus, a renewed team for FZ, a team determined to make the group's three Italian brands even more recognizable and desirable across the ocean.
