Polti VisitMalta's second signing for 2026 is already familiar with the Fundación Alberto Contador structure, having been a rider on the U23 team in the 2024 season. Now, established as a highly skilled cyclist, he has the opportunity to continue growing as a professional.
News continues on Polti VisitMalta's reinforcements for next season. After the arrival of Adrián Benito, it's now the turn of young Frenchman Dario Giuliano. A cyclist who, back in 2024, wearing the colors of Polti Kometa, came close to finishing on the podium in two Copa de España races, he has also confirmed his high level in 2025 with a string of podium finishes and notable positions, but above all with the overall victory in the Volta a Castelló, one of the most renowned U23 events in Spain. The 20-year-old rider (born in 2005) made his debut in the U23 category with the Fundación Alberto Contador team and now returns to his former home.
Dario Giuliano: "It's an honor to compete again with Polti VisitMalta, a team I'm already familiar with, a dream come true. I'm incredibly motivated to grow and learn, and I hope to progress quickly to help the team. I hope I can continue to have the full support of my teammates and achieve my best level in these colors."
Fran Contador, General Manager of Polti VisitMalta: "Dario needed another year in the U23 category, after being with us in 2024. Seeing how he's continued to progress and how he's reached the level necessary to make the step up to professional status again with our team, makes us truly proud of all the work done."
