The Uc Trevigiani Energiapura Marchiol has already begun activities for the next season, like all other teams at this point of the year. In the new lineup, they have already inserted four new signings who all come from the junior category. "These are promising young riders who have already hit the mark in the junior category and in previous seasons," says a satisfied Rino De Candido, confirmed sports director of the Porta San Tommaso team. "In the 2026 season, we are focusing on young talents, especially for the results they will bring in the immediate future and also with a view to team renewal, which will remain Continental".
The names are as follows: Martin Gris, Lorenzo Dalle Crode, Gabriele Peluso, and Melson Idrizi.
Martin Gris races with Spercenigo Industrial Forniture C&G Capital, the nursery of Uc Trevigiani Energiapura Marchiol. Born on November 1, 2007, he has already collected three victories at the Gran Premio Dmt Alè on August 10, Gran Premio dell'Arno on July 6, and Coppa Fratelli Granzotto on June 14. The fast-paced rider from Anzù di Feltre has also achieved two second places at Giro del Ponte on August 3 and Trofeo Brentino on July 19. He finished third at the Orsago circuit. He participated in the Giro di Abruzzo.
Also enlisted is Melsan Idrizi, from Autozai Contri, from San Michele all'Adige in Trentino. Eighteen years old, born on March 14 to Macedonian parents but in Italy. On June 3, he won the second stage of the Giro del Friuli Cordenons-Montereale Valcellina, finishing second in the overall classification behind Davide Frigo by just 4". He also won the Gp Amici del Ciclismo San Pietro in Cariano on May 11, was third at Coppa Montes on April 25, fourth at Gran Premio San Michele on May 18, and seventh at Sandrigo-Monte Corno. In addition to the Giro del Friuli, he also participated in the Giro di Lunigiana and Giro di Abruzzo.
Gabriele Peluso was born on October 12, 2007, in the province of Alessandria in Carpeneto. After progressing through local youth teams including Cicli Guizzardi (youngest), Pedale Acquese, and Ciclistica Valenza (beginners), Young Bikers Team Balmamion and Vigor (cadets), and his first year as a junior with UC Piasco Valle Varaita, he moved to Team Ecotek under Beppe Martinelli and Sergio Gozio. This season, he won the Ciciociarissima stage race from July 18-20, claiming victory in the first stage from Poste Fibreno to Strangolagalli. He also boasts numerous top-five finishes. Third in Giro della Castellania and Trofeo Vittorio Giorgi, fourth in Piccola Tre Valli Varesine, Medaglia d'Oro Alba Rosa, and the fourth and final stage of Ciociarissima, fifth at Gran Premio U.C.A.T and Gran Premio Marcello Falcone. He participated in the Giro della Lunigiana.
The fourth arrival (not in terms of merit) is Lorenzo Dalle Crode, who is finishing his second junior season with the Trevigiani team from Roncadelle Borgo Molino Vigna Fiorita. The rider from Monfalcone, born on February 18, 2007, has not yet collected any victories, but has secured two valuable second places in the classic climbers' race Vittorio Veneto-Cansiglio and in the season-opening race at Circuito della Conche. At Sandrigo Monte Corno, another classic climbers' race, he finished fourth, fifth at Gran Premio Caffè Borbone. Seventh last Sunday at the challenging Trofeo Buffoni, a classic junior category race.
"As you can see, these are riders who are not afraid of climbing - says Rino De Candido - suitable more or less for stage races. Climbers and sprinters, but mostly riders with well-rounded characteristics". This is the first piece of the new Uc Trevigiani Energiapura Marchiol. More will follow.
