The INEOS Grenadiers have announced the signing of current French champion Dorian Godon with a three-year contract. In his ninth season as a professional, the 29-year-old won his first French title in Les Herbiers in June, enriching a palmares that also includes victories at Brabantse-Pijl and Giro del Veneto in 2023, two triumphs at Paris-Camembert and several stage wins throughout his career.
Known for his ability and versatility in races, along with valuable experience in grand tours, he will provide greater strength and depth across the entire calendar for the Grenadiers.
Dorian Godon said: "It is an honor to sign with INEOS Grenadiers. It means a lot to me and signing a multi-year contract is a true demonstration of confidence, which I deeply appreciate. This seems like the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my career, and I am ready to make the most of it. I want to make the French champion's jersey shine, and why not, my mustache too. In recent months, I have seen the team race with strength and unity in the peloton, and this has truly inspired me. I can't wait to be part of it."
Scott Drawer, Performance Director of INEOS Grenadiers, added: "Dorian is a smart and winning rider, with the necessary skills to tame difficult races and the right speed to score. His ability to read chaotic finales, position himself efficiently, and deliver gives us excellent options in a wide variety of races. We will quickly integrate him with clear objectives for spring and stage races, and we can't wait to have him in the team."
