Five medals that tell how beautiful the European Track Championships in Anadia (Portugal) were for Pool Cantù-GB Junior. With two golds from the son of an artist Ruben Ferrari and the Tuscan Francesco Matteoli (team pursuit), a silver and a bronze with Julian Bortolami (Madison and Points Race) and the bronze with Ferrari himself (pursuit), the junior team of Ecclesio Terraneo, Antonio Meroni and Gianluca Bortolami celebrates its "azzurri" with a more than positive haul that also includes the fourth position of Giacomo Dentelli (Kilometer) and the sixth place of the aforementioned Matteoli in the individual pursuit.
Continue to grow is the common denominator of the Lombard club that pays much attention to track activity, always in close collaboration with the Italian National Team's Dino Salvoldi. The boys often practice at the Montichiari velodrome thanks to the stages promoted by Salvoldi, who works in contact with the staff of the team directed by Loris Ferrari.
The enthusiasm and satisfaction gained at the Europeans once again testify to the bond between Pool Cantù-GB Junior and track races, which represent a flagship in the palmares of every season. Six azzurri were up to the task, and no less can be said of Gregorio Acquaviva, a true king at the Piedmont championships where he won five titles and also secured the special Track Challenge 2025 classification.
