A day to frame for the Solution Tech–Vini Fantini Team at the Tokyo Tama, with Lorenzo Quartucci raising his arms to the sky, conquering a splendid victory, and Kyrylo Tsarenko completing the podium with an excellent third place.
The team directed by Leonardo Canciani was the absolute protagonist of this first edition of the Japanese race, characterized by an initial line section followed by four passes on a 1.4 km climb at 7%, with the Team always ready to attack and make the race selective.
Quartucci's attack was decisive already on the first climb, when he managed to rejoin the breakaway riders who had gained an advantage shortly before, including his teammate Yukiya Arashiro. The leading group, consisting of about fifteen riders, continued compactly until two laps from the finish. It was again Lorenzo Quartucci who broke the hesitation, relaunching the action and taking another rider with him. The arrival was thus decided in a sprint, where the Solution Tech–Vini Fantini rider made the most of his fast skills, signing a prestigious success.
Completing the perfect day for the team, the brilliant performance of Kyrylo Tsarenko, who finished in third place with a significant performance.
"I am extremely happy with this result," Lorenzo Quartucci commented immediately after. "We raced very well and knew how important it was to achieve a result today, especially because we have many sponsors following us closely. I believe we managed to meet expectations and give great satisfaction to the Team."
