If stage two resembled a classic, stage four... even more so. The finale of the Amiens Metropole-Rouen (174.2 kilometers to cover) truly promises great excitement. The crossing of Picardy still offers a serious risk of wind, but the final 40 kilometers are truly challenging.

Four difficulties will be faced in less than 23 kilometers: starting with the Belbeuf hill (1.3 km at 9.1%), then the Bonsecours Col (900 m at 7.2%) where riders will find the stele dedicated to Jean Robic. Following that, the Grand'Mare Col (1.8 km at 5%) and especially the Saint-Hilaire ramp, a true wall of 800 m with sections reaching 15% gradient: the summit is five kilometers from the Rouen finish line, and the city of Jacques Anquetil prepares for a special celebration that could smile upon the yellow jersey: Mathieu Van der Poel will indeed be the number one favorite.
