Mapei, together with Mapei Sport, once again sponsors the Dolomites Marathon, the iconic cycling granfondo scheduled for Sunday, July 6th in Badia (BZ), confirming its commitment to supporting sports.

Now in its 38th edition, it represents a highly anticipated event capable of attracting athletes and amateurs from around the world to the spectacular Dolomites roads, united by their passion for challenge and nature.

Under the Sign of Light

The 2025 edition stands out for its central theme "Lüm", a Ladin term meaning "light". The event's renewed logo, traversed by solar beams, represents metamorphosis, evolution, and the energy of renewal. The final "M" evokes the profile of Sassongher, which at first light of dawn ignites, offering an enchanting experience to all athletes ready for departure. "Lüm" represents an invitation to rediscover one's inner light, to identify the path and hope even in dark moments, a concept that inspires all participants during their journey.

Numbers and Participation

This year's event will see the presence of 8,000 cyclists, equally distributed between those drawn by lottery (4,100 positions) and those selected through accumulated privileges, partnerships, and tourism operators. Registration requests reached 32,700 candidates, representing 91 different countries, with a perfect balance between Italian and foreign participants. The event reconfirms itself as one of the most frequented and cosmopolitan cycling appointments, supported by 1,500 volunteers and a six-hour live broadcast on Rai 2. The Dolomites Marathon also constitutes a significant charitable event: 400 special registrations were sold, with proceeds (over €73,000) dedicated to three charitable organizations.

For the 2025 edition, Mapei Sport will be present at the Maratona Village with a dedicated stand, where the staff will offer technical consultation and support, sharing competencies and services for athletes, in line with the mission of promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. The Mapei Motorhome will also be present, a reference point for all participants and visitors. Additionally, the Mapei logo will have high visibility along the race route, on banners, and on all official communication materials of the event.
