The idea came from two cycling experts: one, Andrea Zambrini, is a physiotherapist and biomechanics specialist; the other, Damiano Cunego, was a great champion who needs no introduction. And, as often happens, it's an idea as simple as... the egg of Columbus.
The proposal is straightforward and directed at parents and coaches involved in youth cycling teams: we can define it as a kind of "postural hygiene" for young cyclists.
The project is called Cycling Lab Next Gen and is aimed at children from 7 to 18 years old, proposing 3-4 visits per year to monitor posture and harmonious muscular growth. Moreover, children will be taught the basics of movement and breathing, and naturally, their bike biomechanics will be monitored during their growth phase.
