After recent successes, the MBH Ballan CSB Colpack team is ready to return to racing this weekend with two prestigious Tuscan events: Saturday, May 11th in Marcialla (FI) and Sunday, May 12th in Marina di Carrara (MS) for the Gran Premio del Marmo.
There is great anticipation around the team, which in recent seasons has always performed well in these races. In particular, the GP del Marmo represents a special race for two of our riders, already winners in recent editions, such as Christian Bagatin, and Manuel Oioli (2nd in 2004), determined to repeat their success.
Two challenging races, two opportunities to confirm the excellent form and quality of work done by riders and staff.
"We arrive here with the awareness of having worked well - explains Gianluca Valoti - and we will need to seize the opportunities, learning from the experiences gained in previous races".
Called up for Marcialla (May 11th): Bagatin, Vesco, Cretti, Ambrosini, Masciarelli, Bracalente
Called up for GP del Marmo (May 12th): Oioli, Casalini, Cipollini, Bracalente, Masciarelli, Vesco
DS: Gianluca Valoti
From May 14th to 18th, one of the most anticipated races for the team takes place: the Tour of Hungary, a five-stage race that takes place on the roads of the nation that supports the team with conviction.
Antonio Bevilacqua presents the event: "We are ready to start and will try to be protagonists. Last year we managed to interpret an attacking race, with an excellent 2nd place by Samuel Quaranta in the sprint in the city of Hajdúszoboszló, where he narrowly missed success, coming very close to Sam Welsford of Bora-Hansgrohe. Our DNA is to always be proactive. We want to make a good impression in front of those who have supported us with conviction, starting with Gabor Deak and MBH Bank."
Leading the team will be Antonio Bevilacqua and Davide Martinelli. Racing: Cretti, Ambrosini, Valent, Tackas, Novak and Fiorin
