A new star is born in the French cycling scene: nineteen-year-old Aubin Sparfel has secured his first professional victory by winning the Tour du Finistere. Riding for Decathlon AG2r La Mondiale Development, who was racing among juniors until last year, he brilliantly seized the opportunity to race with the first team and made his winning move in the last kilometer, attacking alongside British rider Askey, who won yesterday, and powering through to victory ahead of his teammate Bastien Tronchon, with Emilien Jeanniere from TotalEnergies taking third place.
