Lorenzo Finn came close to victory in the fifty-eighth edition of the Flèche Ardennaise, raced in the surroundings of Stavelot, Belgium. The 18-year-old from Liguria of Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe Rookies, crossed the finish line behind the winner Jarno Widar (Lotto Devo) and ahead of Luxembourg's Mats Wenzel (Equipo Kern Pharma).

The race, contested over a total distance of 174 kilometers, was stopped for about ten minutes due to the heavy rain falling on the course, then resumed regularly.
