Since 2023, Uno-X Mobility and 7-Eleven have been sharing roads in Norway and Denmark, managing 107 Uno-X service stations where fast charging, fuel, and a cool drink await travelers.
At the Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Uno-X Mobility Cycling is not racing in their usual red and yellow colors. Both men's and women's teams are wearing green, white, and red - the iconic colors of the 7-Eleven Team, which redefined international cycling in the '80s. The Liège-Bastogne-Liège, often called La Doyenne ("The Old Lady"), is the oldest Classic in the sport, a 259 km Monument that has marked cycling history since 1892. For one day, the Norwegian team wants to bring the 7-Eleven Team back to life, not just as a tribute to cycling tradition, but also as a celebration of the strong partnership between Uno-X and 7-Eleven, both proudly part of the REITAN family. Reitan Convenience is part of Reitan Retail, which manages 7-Eleven franchising activities in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Just like the 7-Eleven team of the '80s, Thor Hushovd's Uno-X team races and is recognized for a certain style. It's not just about watts, but about creating moments fans will remember. And for Norwegian cycling fans, the 7-Eleven Team left a special legacy: it was in these colors that Dag Otto Lauritzen won the first Tour de France stage in Norway in 1987, inspiring an entire generation.
In addition to the jersey and bike color change, they've also released a song with a music video aimed at becoming a hit. Listen to it...
