Centro Sportivo Carabinieri and Cicli Olympia, a historic off-road partnership that renews itself with an expanded lineup and increasingly ambitious goals, both in mountain bike and cyclocross.

The team's potential has already been revealed in the first seasonal outings in cross country. After Filippo Fontana's success in the San Zeno di Montagna stage of the Internazionali d'Italia Series, the Gaerne Mountain Bike Trophy in Maser confirmed the group's strength: elite victories for Filippo Fontana and Nicole Pesse, second place for Daniele Braidot (elite), third overall for the Under 23 debutante Giada Martinoli, fifth for Emanuele Huez (elite). A rocket start that allows thinking big for the rest of the season.

The C.S. Carabinieri – Olympia calendar includes XCO/XCC World Cup events, major international competitions in Italy, some international trips, and naturally, the Italian, European, and World Championships, both in XCO-XCC and cyclocross.

Olympia provides the official team athletes with the flagship of its competitive production, the full-suspended F1-X, a model that has accompanied the athletes of the Padua-based company's official teams in their numerous successes. Lightness, stability, great reactivity, and perfect handling in every situation are the virtues that make F1-X the ace in the hole for both C.S. Carabinieri - Olympia and the Olympia Factory Team in the Marathon sector.

The 2025 roster of C.S. Carabinieri – Olympia thus renews itself with a touch of pink: confirmed riders Daniele Braidot, Filippo Fontana, and Emanuele Huez are joined by Nicole Pesse and Giada Martinoli.

Filippo Fontana is one of the most brilliant talents in the Italian off-road panorama. Italian cyclocross champion from Under and then again in 2022 and 2023 in the elite category, he boasts an 11th place at the under world championships in the same specialty, while in cross country he won the Italia Bike Cup 2023 and was twice sixth at the under world championships. His main objectives are to confirm himself at the top of national cyclocross, enter the top 10 in a World Cup event, aim for the Italian championship and a European and World XCC-XCO podium, and win the Internazionali d'Italia Series.

Daniele Braidot, the group's veteran, brings with him a remarkable record: Italian champion in 2016 and 2022, ninth at the Elite World Championships in 2018 and 2022, winner of the Internazionali d'Italia Series and author of two sixth places in the World Cup in 2023. For him, 2025 will be a turning point: he will combine his role as a rider with that of sports director, taking technical leadership of the team.

Decidedly aiming for an azure jersey is Emanuele Huez, who among the under has to his credit the Under 2021 national title, a ninth place at the 2022 world championship, and the victory of the Italia Bike Cup in 2023.

In her first year among the elite, Nicole Pesse wants to confirm herself after her good debut in Maser. Already junior Italian champion and twice second among the Under, she wants to earn a spot in the azure team and shine both in the Internazionali and in the Italia Bike Cup.

The eighteen-year-old Giada Martinoli approaches the Under 23 category bringing with her an exhilarating 2024: in addition to the Junior XCO Italian title, her palmares includes gold in the European Team Relay and in the Puy St. Vincent Junior Series event, third place at the European championship and eighth at the world championship.

Many credentials and many ambitions for a team that wants to leave its mark: "I am very satisfied with the group we have created, the guys are motivated and I see great harmony," observes Gianluca Macchini, head of C.S. Carabinieri – Olympia. "The main novelty is represented by the arrival of Nicole and Giada, both athletes with great potential. Daniele, Filippo, and Emanuele have already amply demonstrated their value. As for Filippo Fontana, I believe he deserves a place in the top ten in the World Cup, if not even in the top five. Daniele will soon take on a new role, that of technical manager of the team: I am sure that his great experience will allow him to perform this task at best and contribute in this role to making us even more united and competitive."
