
Just a few days before the start of the new season, the Sports Group Emilia is finalizing participants for the Trofeo Laigueglia on March 5th and the International Coppi and Bartali Week (March 25-29), two absolutely prestigious events that fit into an international cycling calendar of the highest level.
The Trofeo Laigueglia, which will see the participation of a total of 25 teams, holds historical and symbolic importance for our cycling scene and beyond, being the first race of the season in Italy. The Trofeo Laigueglia, which will be held in its sixty-second edition and take place in a unique scenic setting, is an authentic showcase for big cycling names and emerging talents.
Simultaneously, the International Coppi and Bartali Week confirms itself as an event of absolute appeal. The interest in this stage race is demonstrated by over forty participation requests from World Teams, Professional and Continental teams, proving the growing importance and prestige of this competition. A strong signal that confirms the Coppi and Bartali Week as a key moment at the start of the season.
Meanwhile, the Sports Group Emilia is also working hard on other appointments of the season, always with the goal of consolidating its historical significance in the cycling panorama. In this regard, on Friday, February 21st, the starting location for the 108th Giro dell'Emilia and the 12th Giro dell'Emilia Women, events that will be held next October 4th, will be officially announced.
