Simone Galbusera made his debut yesterday in France with his new team, Equipo Finisher, a satellite formation of the professional Equipo Kern Pharma. Eighteen years old from Sirone, in the Lecco area, young Galbusera is a climbing specialist who last year, with Pool Cantù-GB Junior, won the Rezzato-Botticino, Pian Camuno-Monte Campione, and the race in Sumirago in the Varese region.

In Italy, he demonstrated his explosiveness during his last year in the junior category, and now he will seek opportunities in the U23 category where he has chosen to grow with the Iberian team, with which he competed in the Boucles de L'Essor, finishing among the best in the group.

For the chronicles, the race was won by the French rider Gari Lagnet of Bisontine over Vandepitte and Dupè. Galbusera finished 86th with the winner's time.
