After the [Ardennes classics], Aso has officially announced today the wild cards for Paris-Roubaix and Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift.
In the men's field, alongside the 18 WorldTour teams, Lotto, Israel Premier Tech, and Uno-X Mobility are automatically admitted, while receiving the wild card are the French TotalEnergies, the Swiss Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team and Tudor Pro Cycling Team, and the Dutch-based French team Unibet Tietema Rockets, making its historic first appearance in the stones classic.
An important signal, the latter, for those who chuckled when Bas Tietema announced the new team name, explaining that the team's big goal is the wild card for the 2026 Tour...
In the women's field, the 15 WorldTour formations will be racing, then six ProTeams, namely the French Arkea B&B Hotels Women, Cofidis Women Team, St Michel - Preference Home- Auber93 and Winspace Orange Seal, the American ED Education - Oatly and the Dutch Volkerwessel. Wild cards also for three Continental teams: the Belgian DD Group Pro Cycling Team and Lotto Ladies, and the Norwegian Team Coop-Repsol.
