UAE Team ADQ further consolidates its foundations by confirming another important piece of its chess board and another experienced athlete like Erica Magnaldi. The 33-year-old Italian climber is one of the most long-standing athletes wearing this team's jersey, present since the beginning of this project in 2022 and now has signed a new contract that will tie her to the Emirati team also for the 2026 season, her fifth with this team. A testament of mutual trust and esteem.

Erica Magnaldi has experienced a very positive year in 2025: she returned to winning on the road by conquering the Grand Prix de Chambéry, at her first gravel experience she won a UCI Gravel World Series event and at the second one she was crowned European Gravel Champion in Avezzano. She was also one of the teammates who accompanied Elisa Longo Borghini towards winning the Giro d'Italia Women.

A moment to remember, as Erica Magnaldi's words testify: "It was a season of ups and downs, but we managed to achieve some beautiful satisfactions. My personal victory in Chambéry and especially the team victory at the Giro is something that will remain forever". "Also riding the wave of enthusiasm that this beautiful victory gave us and the excellent relationship established with my teammates throughout the season, I really wanted to stay here for another year", Magnaldi explained.

"Let's say that this year the team has definitely changed gear - continues the athlete from the province of Cuneo - not only with Elisa Longo Borghini, but with many other girls. We have several strong athletes and I am very happy to make myself available to them and help them achieve the team's objectives. It will be the same next year and I hope to still find space for some personal satisfaction", she added.
