Wednesday, September 10th is scheduled for the Giro della Toscana, a classic professional race valid as a stage of the Coppa Italia delle Regioni e Province Autonome. On Thursday, September 11th, there will be the Gran Premio Città di Peccioli – Coppa Sabatini, another race in the Coppa Italia delle Regioni. Giro della Toscana and Coppa Sabatini are also valid for the Memorial Alfredo Martini Challenge.

Christian Scaroni, who has been the leader of the Coppa Italia delle Regioni since Sunday, will participate in both races. The Brescia rider is from the XDS – Astana team. "These are races that suit me, I aim to win in Pontedera and Peccioli. I want to confirm myself as leader in the Coppa Italia delle Regioni," Scaroni exclaimed.

The Kazakh-based team will also field Frenchman Clement Champoussin, winner of the 2024 Giro di Toscana. Livorno native Diego Ulissi, who is already in the winner's list of the Peccioli race, will also be present.
