Célia Gery doubles down at the Tour de l'Avenir Femmes. The 19-year-old French rider, who had beaten our Eleonora Ciabocco in the first stage, today repeated her success by winning the stage with a finish in Lugny, raced over a distance of eighty kilometers. Célia, fresh from her national team call-up for the World Championships in Kigali, pulled ahead by a few seconds over German Linda Riedmann and Belgian Fleur Moors.
Today's victory allows Gery to make a leap forward in the general classification, moving from fifteenth to ninth position, 46" behind leader Isabella Holmgren, who still leads with a 17" advantage over Ciabocco.
