The first stage of the Tour de Suisse Women, held today with start and finish in Gstaad, goes to Marlen Reusser. At the end of the 95-kilometer race, the Swiss rider from Movistar sprinted to victory over Dutch FDJ Suez rider Demi Vollering, with whom she had gained an advantage in the final moments of the race. Completing the day's podium is Katarzyna Niewiadoma: the Polish CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto rider led the first chasing group, crossing the finish line 1'42" behind the winner, who with today's success also takes the leader's jersey in the race.
