Simone Raccani will wear the Bardiani CSF 7Saber jersey starting next season. The 25-year-old from Vicenza joins from Team UKYO after a season characterized by victory in the general classification of the Tour of Armenia and a stage win at the Tour de Gyeongnam.

A complete rider, particularly suited to challenging terrain and stage races, Raccani has confirmed his qualities throughout 2026. His most important result came at the Tour of Armenia, where he claimed the general classification, ahead of Danish rider Kevin Biehl and Luca Covili, a Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber rider.

In June, he achieved a stage victory at the Tour de Gyeongnam, in South Korea, finishing the competition in second place in the general classification. In September, he also secured third place in the general classification of the Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia.

His palmares also includes two stage wins obtained in 2025, at the Tour of Japan and the Tour de Gyeongnam, as well as third place at the Giro della Valle d'Aosta in 2022.

Simone Raccani's statement: «For me, racing with Bardiani-CSF 7 Saber is not just a personal achievement, but above all the beginning of a new chapter in my career. I come from seasons that have allowed me to grow significantly, both from an athletic perspective and in terms of experience. Today I feel I have the maturity and awareness necessary to face this new challenge and repay the trust that the team has decided to place in me. I consider myself a complete rider, although the races I prefer are the demanding ones, with plenty of climbing and selective terrain. I enjoy testing myself in stage races, where I believe I can best express my characteristics. One of the aspects I would like to work on most is the ability to be more competitive in reduced bunch sprints, because I think it can help me better capitalize on the work done during the race. For the upcoming season, my main objective will be to achieve important results in general classifications and continue to improve my performance. At the same time, I want to put myself at the service of my teammates and the team whenever necessary. I am motivated and cannot wait to begin this new experience».
