As we anticipated fifteen days ago, when we suggested a possible immediate future with Pinarello Q36.5, Giulio Ciccone is ending his stint with Lidl Trek ahead of schedule. A team that will become even less Italian, following the departure of team manager Luca Guercilena and Valtelline rider Andrea Bagioli.

With these few words the team announced the departure at year's end of the 1994-born Abruzzo native: "After eight seasons together, Lidl Trek and Giulio Ciccone have decided by mutual agreement to part ways, so the Giro di Lombardia will be his last race in our colors. We thank Giulio for what he has done with us and wish him all the best for the future".
